Trenbolone, known commercially as Finaplex, is a synthetic anabolic steroid originally designed for agricultural use to enhance livestock growth. This powerful weight stimulant dramatically increases appetite and promotes extended action due to its esterified nature.
While recognized as an anabolic agent, Finaplex also exhibits strong androgenic properties and is available exclusively as an intramuscular injection. Once its anabolic benefits became apparent, athletes and bodybuilders began utilizing it extensively. Proper caloric intake while using Finaplex can significantly enhance muscle mass and body weight.
Pharmacology
Finaplex shares common characteristics with other anabolic steroids. It not only promotes protein synthesis but also elevates red blood cell production, resulting in increased hemoglobin and enhanced oxygen transport. Notably, higher dosages lead to more pronounced results.
Despite its potency, Finaplex lacks FDA approval for any medical conditions. In animal studies, low doses appear safe, but elevated doses can lead to severe side effects. Currently, production of this steroid is nonexistent across North America.
Bodybuilders
Bodybuilders frequently misuse Finaplex for muscle hypertrophy. Finaplex is administered exclusively via injection. The standard initial dose is 200mg/week, which can escalate to 1200mg/week over time. Its ester component allows accumulation in fatty tissues for gradual release.
While oral Finaplex pills may be found online, they are poorly absorbed and rapidly metabolized in the liver, making them an ineffective option.
Injections are preferably administered in the buttocks. Avoid injecting into the arms or abdomen due to discomfort. Because it’s suspended in oil, smaller-volume injections are advised to minimize pain, with site rotation necessary to prevent abscesses. The outer thigh is another common injection site.
Extraction from Pellets
Historically, Finaplex was sold in pellets implanted under livestock skin, gradually releasing the steroid into the bloodstream. Some bodybuilders have resorted to crushing these pellets and using solvents like DMSO for extraction, followed by dissolving the Finaplex in oil for injection. Applying Finaplex topically can lead to unreliable absorption, necessitating widespread application for adequate dosage.
Cycling
To promote muscle growth, bodybuilders typically cycle Finaplex with other steroids for 3-6 weeks, often combining it with Dianabol or Anavar. High-calorie diets are essential for weight gain, and some also recommend pairing Finaplex with growth hormone or low-dose thyroxin. It’s critical to limit cycles to no more than four weeks to mitigate side effects and prevent testosterone suppression. Some users initiate clomiphene post-cycle to counteract testosterone dips.
Unlike many anabolic steroids, Finaplex effectively increases muscle mass without significantly enhancing performance, making it an ideal choice for beginning sports seasons when combined with other anabolic agents.
Side Effects

Given the illegal status of online anabolic steroid sales, verifying the authenticity of Finaplex is nearly impossible without laboratory analysis.
